[CHALLENGE] 2025. APRIL : LET'S DRAW FLOWER

As the seasons change, beautiful flowers bloom all over the world.

When spring arrives, forsythia starts to bloom, followed by cherry blossoms adorning the sky, and colorful roses radiate their captivating fragrance.

In the hot summer, sunflowers facing the sun open their large faces, while water lilies and lotus flowers decorate the water's surface.

In autumn, garden cosmos, chrysanthemums, and the red spider lily, which is known for its unique flower, color the world along with falling leaves.

And in the cold of winter, camellia and daffodils bloom brightly in the snow.

Our first challenge this April is about ‘Flower,’ a plant with beautiful fragrance and color.

Flowers have been used in a number of ways throughout different eras.

In ancient times, they held religious significance as symbols of connection with the divine and thus, were used as offerings to the gods.

During the Renaissance, flowers became important elements for expressing human emotions and aesthetics, appearing in artworks to convey various messages.

Today, with advancements in industry and logistics, flowers sent all over the world and play important roles in various fields such as design and decor.

The language of a flower represents the special meanings and symbols associated with a particular flower.

It was created as a way to convey emotions through flowers during times when verbal expression was limited.

For instance, sunflowers symbolize loyalty, violets represent a confession of love, red roses signify passion and love, and pink roses convey gratitude and affection, just as each type and color of flower carries its own unique meaning.

Don’t you think it would be fun to express various flowers and their meanings through art?

Flowers serve as an important medium for conveying emotions.

Gifting flowers on special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries has become a tradition consistently passed down from the past to the present.

Nowadays, floral designs and patterns are widely featured in interior decoration, events, and gifts, helping create unique atmospheres for different occasions and venues through contrasting or harmonious blends of colors, textures, and lines.
