[Review] Challenge of December (2)
PENUP Main banner

The red-nosed reindeer, ‘Rudolph,’ who pulls Santa Claus' sleigh, was the theme of our second challenge this December.

First, we will introduce the winners of this challenge through a video.

Our latest challenge brought in a number of interesting works featuring Rudolph.

We saw various depictions of Rudolph with his red nose, and we enjoyed imagining the gifts we'd like to get as we watched him gallop through the sky on Christmas.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the challenge with great artwork.

Then, shall we meet the winners of the challenge?

Rudolph / @Nessalb87
Merry Christmas Penples / @One2three

In our first picture, Rudolph is gazing at the dawn sky with bright eyes.

In the white forest with the falling snow, bright sunlight is shining everywhere.

Seeing his Christmas-themed outfit, it seems like Rudolph has been delivering presents all night and is now welcoming a happy morning.

This one’s from @Nessalb87.

In our next picture, we see Rudolph, with his twinkling red nose, standing next to a Christmas tree.

His beautiful antlers, looking like someone’s hands, are wrapped in a string of glowing light bulbs.

Given that the tree at the back only has purple ornaments left hanging, it appears Rudolph’s antlers got tangled up with the lights as he came down from the sky.

Well done, @One2three.

Christmas deer / @Maksim
For dear friend Meow_zero / @A123

In this moonlit forest covered in snow, there’s a reindeer pulling a sleigh.

Rudolph, who looks ready for Christmas, has a broad smile on his face as if welcoming someone.

Given the comet soaring through the sky, it seems it’s time to start delivering presents.

Great work, @Maksim.

On a moonlit night, a deer has come to drink water, and its antlers seem to have collected a mysterious energy from nearby.

Like a tree, beautiful flowers have bloomed on the deer’s antlers.

Rudolph, who travels around the world on Christmas, might be gathering energy this way to get through the night.

Thank you, @A123.

How am I not a deer? / @TheSheepwalker

Rudolph is lighting up the sky with his red nose as he glides over a village struck by a blizzard.

The elf, clinging to the reins and holding onto his hat, looks bewildered by the speed.

We’d love to hear the story of Rudolph and the elf running through the night sky without a sleigh or Santa Claus in tow.

That one was sent in by @gus.

It seems that it’s almost Christmas, judging by the colorful lights and ribbons.

The dog appears to be dressed up like Rudolph with a headband that has antlers and ears, and also a red nose.

The dog's wide-eyed face looks as if it's asking its owner if it really looks like Rudolph.

Beautiful job by @TheSheepwalker.

The red nosed reindeer / @2OTeddyz

Santa Claus here, holding a sack of presents, looks like a soldier heading into battle.

Rudolph, wearing a spiked collar, is in the middle of a menacing roar.

What type of grand Christmas gifting operation do you think these two have planned?

Thanks, @shele1, for sending your work in.

Rudolph, wearing a collar with bells, has a determined look on his face.

His eyes are full of resolve, and his red nose seems to be glowing brighter.

The dark surroundings and Rudolph's face suggest that Christmas Eve is almost here.

Great work, @2OTeddyz.

Rudolph Red Nose by Paula C. Jensen, 2024. / @Paula_Jensen
somewhere in the woods at Christmas time / @Nigart

In the forest, a reindeer with beautiful antlers stands alone in the white snow-covered field.

Seeing its red nose, it looks like Rudolph, who pulls Santa’s sleigh on Christmas.

But the way he’s standing alone suggests this picture could be showing Rudolph before he was chosen by Santa Claus.

Thank you, @Paula_Jensen.

Finally, we see deer with long antlers walking in a line along a snowy forest trail.

The falling snow and the bare branches of the forest are gradually being covered in a white blanket of snow.

Perhaps these two deer will one day become Rudolph, pulling Santa’s sleigh.

That’s from @Nigart.

These are the 10 winners.

Congratulations!

@2OTeddyz

Please send your encouragement and congrats to these 10 people in the comments.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this challenge.

The 1st challenge of January, ‘Let’s draw Window' is on going.
