2025, the new year is here.

We wish all of you happiness and health in this new year.

Windows come in various forms.

Some windows come in rectangular, circular, hexagonal, or star or heart shapes.

Meanwhile, some are sliding windows, some have winged doors, and others slide up or down.

Depending on where they are used, some of them are installed on a vehicle, train, or airplane, while others are installed on a vending machine or an industrial machine.

The theme of the first challenge to mark January 2025 is the ‘Window,’ which is an instrument that connects the inside and outside.

They say windows have been changing all the time.

In ancient times, windows were how you got natural lighting in, so they either made a hole or built their windows out of wood or steel grates.

However, with the advance in the technology of making glass during the medieval era, they started to see more applications.

With the advancement in materials and technologies, special types of glass, such as large glass panes and tempered glass, were created, and with this, windows of more varied shapes were made.

Staind glass is a piece of art that is made out of a window.

They visually express the symbols and meanings of sacred entities, to decorate the churches during medieval times, with advancements in the technique.

Artistic freedom began to emerge during the Renaissance, later combining with new forms of art such as Art Nouveau in modern times, and with this, it started to gain attention as a genre of art that represents nature and abstraction.

It would be such fun to create an image of the stained glass that you want to use.

Windows are considered an important element of architecture today.

It has established its place as an important part of the progress in architectural design, and a variety of attempts have been made using Windows.

Also, by applying new technologies, there are windows that can check the outside temperature and air quality to automatically open and close the doors and adjust the transparency of the windows, and these are just some of the brilliant inventions that are sure to impress you.

The challenge is running based on GMT.

Therefore, the start and end times differ depending on time zone of each country, so please refer to GMT time when uploading your work.
