Our first challenge in October was about ‘Wind’, which is the flow of air when it moves.
First, we will introduce the winners of this challenge through a video.

It really gave us a chance to see how each of you viewed and felt about the wind.
We saw various landscapes featuring the wind, the changing nature and environment, and we had a fun time daydreaming about myths that were inspired by the wind and what wind means in different cultures.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the challenge with great artwork.
Then, shall we meet the winners of the challenge?
Here, we see a girl running through some laundry hanging on her lawn.
It seems like she’s chasing the sheets swaying in the wind, then running back before they fall back down.
The wind is not only being practical and useful, by drying the sheets, it is also giving the girl a fun game to play.
Thank you, @malex.
Next, we have some grapes hanging on the vine, slowly ripening in the wind.
Right next to the grapes, we also see a dandelion letting go of its seeds in the wind as well.
Perhaps by the time the grapes turn a lovely purple, the dandelion seeds that flew off in the wind may lay its roots down at its new home.
Great work, @A123.
It looks like autumn is coming to an end on a vast field.
The grass has turned a deep brown, and the ginkgo leaves have all been blown away from their branches by the wind.
The blue wisp of wind blowing across the field, now in full autumn colors, could mean that winter and its frosty winds are just around the corner.
Beautiful work, @KateSok.
Down the narrow path and on the beach is a woman walking toward the ocean in her white dress and a hat.
She is holding her hat to keep it from getting blown away by the wind, and appears be soaking in the vast sea and endless horizon.
With picture-perfect weather, enjoying the sea would make her feel refreshed, like the breeze.
Thank you, @-JelDa-.
Here, we have a pinwheel spinning quickly, creating a rainbow, in someone’s hand.
When the pinwheel speeds up, the surrounding air also creates a flow.
For the person holding the pinwheel, it might feel like holding a tiny typhoon in their hand.
Thanks, @francisco for uploading that one.
The car is zipping down the road, cutting through the wind.
The woman leaning out of the window has her hair blowing in all directions by the strong wind.
Now, although we can't see her face, she must be smiling ear-to-ear with the happiness and freedom she’s feeling.
Awesome job, @Andreia.
We have a woman leaning on a table with her chin resting in her palm.
Behind her, we see a beautiful scenery of maple trees and reeds, but she looks lost in thought or just disinterested in what’s around her.
The cool autumn breeze must have led her into deep contemplation rather than the scenery.
Wonderful work, @soseo.
A mother and son are flying a kite in a field.
The kite, with its long tail trailing behind, is riding the wind to fly higher up into the sky.
The sky itself is also a beautiful color with clouds dyed in sunset getting blown away by the wind.
It’s going to be a special day to remember for these two.
Well done, @aralio555.
Our second to last painting has the wind passing over the wide field.
The clouds, the flowers, and the crops in the field seem to be swaying leisurely in the wind.
The beautiful autumn scenery with changing winds is enough to enrich anyone's heart.
That one was from @Marina.
In our last piece, we see a cat standing on a rock and gazing up into the sky.
The fallen leaves on the ground are being blown away in different directions, and the blooming clouds are moving with the wind.
Could the cat be here to enjoy the special scenery created by the wind as well?
Great job, @cattitude.
These are the 10 winners.
Congratulations!
Please send your encouragement and congrats to these 10 people in the comments.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this challenge.
The 2nd challenge of October, ‘Let’s draw Ghost’ is on going.
We hope for your participation.
Thank you.
