[REVIEW] CHALLENGE OF JULY (1)

‘Island’,a land surrounded by the sea, was the first challenge theme for July.

First, we will introduce the winners of this challenge through a video.

Through this challenge, we were able to enjoy artwork featuring an island.

We saw islands with diverse natural environments and animals, and the scenery from different resorts and imaginary islands gave us a chance to drift off into our dreams and take a special trip to islands we’d like to spend time on.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the challenge with great artwork.

Then, shall we meet the winners of the challenge?

In our first picture, we have a bird sitting on a tiny island being battered by violent waves.

It looks like the bird was flying over the sea, then needed a place to rest until the storm blew over.

As soon as the weather and waves calm down, the bird might stretch its wings out and fly far, far away.

The sun on the horizon is the perfect backdrop to this small island with a few palm trees.

Someone is swinging in a hammock hung between the beach and the sea.

He must be enjoying the magnificent view.

Even the dolphins are breaching the water's surface to catch a glimpse of this beautiful scene.

In our next picture, we have a small footpath that's parting the sea.

At the end of the path, you can see a forest with towering clouds above and an island with a small bungalow.

It might feel like you’re stepping into some unknown, new world altogether.

Next, we have some sort of castle full of tall spires built on an island surrounded by thick clouds.

The castle, which is shrouded in sea fog that creates a somewhat gloomy atmosphere, looks as if it is engulfed in flames.

This almost burning image of the island could be an optical illusion created by the sun and the clouds.

Here, we have islands just floating around in the sky, way above the dark clouds.

See all of the tall buildings on each island and airships flying between the islands?

Could this be an aerial city, a city in the skies?

The pilot looking at this scenery also appears to be operating an airship connecting the different islands.

On the horizon, the sun is painting everything with an array of beautiful colors.

The girl swimming in the sea seems to be saying hello to a massive whale.

The cute little house built on the island must be the girl’s home and the whale is her friend.

This island beach is facing what looks like an endless ocean.

The woman sitting under the palm tree appears to be absentmindedly admiring the scenery around the island.

What do you think she’s thinking about as she enjoys her vacation by the emerald ocean?

Tears are rolling down the eyes of a woman who appears to be a massive mountain.

Her tears have flown down a valley, then into a large stream that feeds into an estuary with several smaller islands.

This place, which is home to countless little islands, is home to a variety of legends and myths about how the islands were created in the first place.

And this could be a scene from one of those stories.

What do we have here?

There’s an old-looking house built on a small island connected by a bridge.

The woman standing on the hill across the sea has slightly turned her head and closed her eyes.

It looks as if she’s trying to engrave the beautiful scenery of the island into her mind.

And finally, we have an island on the sea where on one side, the sun has set but on the other side, it hasn’t.

The houses built all over the island are also in various colors and shades, creating an almost mystical scenery.

Given the angels floating around in the sky looking at the island, this might be a special island where the angels live.
