Did you know wolves
aren't all the same?
Apparently, there are several
subspecies of wolves.
You have the most commonly known
Gray Wolf, you have the Siberian
Wolf with a white coat, there’s
the Jackal with golden fur,
and there’s also the Arabian Wolf
that looks like a Hyena.
Since wolves adapt so well to their
environment, they live in places
with extreme temperature swings,
from the tundra to the great plains,
hot deserts, and rugged mountain
ranges.
Wolves also come in different sizes.
Some are taller than adult men,
While others can be as small as
children.
The second challenge in March
is all about the 'Wolf,'
an animal that’s often called
nature’s hunter.

Wolves and dogs have a common
ancestor, but they evolved
differently, with dogs domesticated
by humans and wolves living in
the wild.
It is said that as wolves live in
the wild, their grow larger, their
teeth and claws are sharper, and
their athletic abilities are also
superior to dogs.
They have the keen instincts of
a wild animal, which means you have
to be very careful.
But some say it's not as difficult
to build an intimate bond with
Wolves as it would be with
other carnivores.

Wolves have a variety of habits.
They mostly live in packs,
with the wisest wolf couple
as their leaders.
Wolves are highly intelligent
animals that communicate before
making decisions and hunt in
different formations.
For our challenge, it might be a fun
idea to draw what you think a wolf
pack would look like.

In fact, wolves are animals that
have competed with humans for
a long time.
They would attack livestock and
clash quite frequently with humans,
which is why wolves are often
depicted as villains in fairy tales
such as 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf' and
'Little Red Riding Hood'.
It is said that humans instinctively
get chills and an ominous feeling
when they hear a wolf's howl,
because wolves have been an object
of fear for a very long time.
So, what comes to your mind
when you think of wolves?
From real wolves to their various
habits, or scenes from fairy tales,
draw us something about wolves for
our second challenge in March!
This will be proceeded for 16 days.
from March. 16, Sat (GMT)
to March. 31, Sun (GMT).
The challenge is running based
on GMT.
Therefore, the start and end times
differ depending on time zone
of each country, so please refer to
