It is said that various species of
crabs with hard shells and claws
live all over the world.
Blue crabs swim with legs flat like
paddles.
Spider crabs have long legs that
remind you of spiders.
Arrow crabs have a unique long horn
on their forehead, guard crabs live
in coral reefs, and strawberry crabs
resemble strawberries.
Teddy bear crabs’ entire body are
covered with white fur and vampire
crabs' dark yellow eyes are
reminiscent of vampires.
Also, there is boxer crabs that
carry sea anemones like gloves.

Crabs are said to have various
characteristics.
Since they are raised by incubating
eggs, the sizes of the belly shells
are different, making it possible to
distinguish between male and female
at a glance.
The appearance of crabs with bubbles
in their mouths seen in the mudflats
is because they breathe by filtering
oxygen out of the water and exhaling
it again.
And those small sand grains easily
seen on the seashore are
sand bubbler crabs’ work, which suck
in muds to obtain nutrients and
create those sand balls while
discarding excess sand.

Crab is a food ingredient
used in cooking in various countries
They live in a variety of places

mountains, and are highly prolific,
so their population is large and
they are easily obtained,
so they are widely used.
However, there are various legends
about how crab was first eaten
due to its repulsive appearance.

Coconut crabs and king crabs
are classified as hermit crabs,
not crabs.
Unlike crabs, they have four pairs
of legs and are said to be
a different species of creature that
develops a carapace on the abdomen
or uses the shell of a conch or
other crustacean as its home.
The reason the two creatures
resemble each other is because
during the evolution process,
they evolved to resemble crabs for
an advantage in survival and living.
