[Review] Challenge of March (1)

‘Fabric’, the material that makes
beautiful clothes, was the subject
of the first challenge in March.

First, we introduce the winners of
this challenge through a video.

please check the link below.
Go to the epilogue of
the 1st challenge of March

We were able to see a variety of
fabrics through this challenge.

It was a fun time to see the use of
various materials from the process
of making the fabric, and to think
about the future and new inspiration
through cutting-edge materials and
mysterious fabrics made with
imagination.

Thank you to everyone who
participated in this challenge.

So, shall we meet the winners of
this challenge?

温暖的織物 warm fabric
/ @abbywongbonnie
"The Princess and the Pea" / @Yana

The one made of yarn is a sweater
to wear in winter.
The pattern embroidered here and
there and the thread that sparkles
like gold make it feel like
the clothes are made with great care
We wonder if it shines because it
contains the desire for the wearer
to be warm in each and every single
strand.
This is the work of @abbywongbonnie.

The high bed that climbs up
the ladder looks very soft with
a lot of mattresses made of various
fabrics piled up.
However, the princess who wakes up
after sleeping in bed seems to
have slept so much that her head
hurts.
It tells the story of a princess who
couldn't sleep because there was
a small pea in it.
This is the work of @Yana.

Cat on Satin / @HTH
.. / @Ayca

A cat is sleeping on a pink cloth.
The texture of the fabric seems to
be good for sleeping, and the smile
is on your face.
The cat is in a deep sleep and is
rubbing its whole body as if digging
into the fabric.
We want to feel the texture of
the fabric.
This is the work of @HTH.

She is adorned with fancy fabrics.
From a skirt that looks like several
layers of fabric with red
decorations to black fabric, it is
a look that has been firmly prepared
for the party.
When the blue curtain is revealed,
people who see her beauty will
exclaim.
This is the work of @Ayca.

Moviment / @Andreia
The Young Queen / @R.A.A

As she dances, the clothes also
dance with her.
The cloth hidden in the folds
spreads out wide in all directions
following her rotating body.
Depending on the type of fabric,
the feeling of the dance may change.
We wonder what kind of fabric made
her dance moves look like flowers.
This is the work of @Andreia.

The crowned woman is wearing fancy
accessories and luxurious clothes.
The clothes decorated with colorful
lace and the purple cape on
the outside are made of expensive
silk, revealing her power and
dignity.
Cloth is also an object that
represents a person's status.
This is the work of @R.A.A
that captures the image of
a young queen.

Fabrics! / @Andrea
Lace fabric / @princess8.19

They seem to be choosing
the necessary fabric from a place
full of fabrics.
They check the texture by putting
a ball on the furry fabric, and
exclaim while looking at the shiny
fabric hanging from the ceiling.
We wonder what kind of fabric they
are looking for, what to make,
and the future story.
This is the work of @Andrea.

On top of the dark blue fabric,
there is a lace woven with white
thread.
The flowers and vase shapes are
embroidered, and the thin fabric
woven to reflect the surroundings
subtly reflects the inside.
Lace is used in a variety of things,
from clothes to curtains and
tablecloths.
It would be fun to imagine
what kind of things this lace would
go with.
This is the work of @princess8.19.

색동과 작약 / @SUN.U
Child / @cmac60

The rainbow silk, which is made of
silk of various colors such as
purple, yellow, and blue, is woven
with peony flowers in full bloom.
In Korea, it is said that
in the past, children were dressed
in colored clothes made from
colorful silk. With the peony flower
symbolizing pregnancy it feels like
praying for the blessing of a child
to be born.
This is the work of @SUN.U.

Dark clouds pour down rain
in the sky.
The child playing in the grass is
wearing a raincoat to avoid the rain
The clothes the child wears look
like many colors intertwined
intricately, as if they were made by
weaving various fabrics.
We wonder what kind of material
the raincoat is made of.
This is the work of @cmac60.

These are the 10 winners.
Congratulations!

@ abbywongbonnie
@ HTH
