The PENUP Android app version
has been updated to 3.9.1.
Today, we would like to introduce
you to the changes
in version 3.9.1 of PENUP.
First, the home screen is
changed to 'Daily Popular Works'.
Previously when you open PENUP,
the first page you see
was supposed to show parts of
several menus together.
From now on, it has been changed
to show popular works
among the works uploaded
on the same day.
The existing 'Discover New' menu
has been moved to the lower position
and is changed to a place where
we suggest some suggested works
you might like.

PENUP's home screen!
You can see your friends' works
uploaded in real time
by using the 'My Feed' menu
at the bottom.
Second, the tablet screen design
has changed.
Previously when connecting
on a wide screen like a tablet,
the vertical screen of
the smartphone was displayed
as it is.
Some screens including
the structure of the menu
have now been changed to take
full advantage of the wide screen.
The menu is displayed as
a simple icon and
you can slide the menu to the right
or click on navigation on top left
to check the more detailed menu.
You can use PENUP more conveniently
on your tablet now.
Third, new tools
for drawing have been added.
So that you can enjoy PENUP
in a variety of ways,
drawing tools include a fountain pen, calligraphy pen and ‘Shadow’ and ‘Layer Mask’ functions
have been added to the layer.
You can write more beautifully
with a fountain pen and
calligraphy pen and
add shadow effect
through ‘shadow feature
in the layer.
Also if you activate
the ‘Layer Mask’ function after
sketching on the canvas,
only the sketched area
will be colored.
Don't forget that it is applied
only within that layer.
Use the newly added pens
to write beautiful letters
and use the shadow and layer mask
functions to express
yourself better.
Fourth, the opacity value is
tied to the layer when drawing
a photo.
If you forget to adjust
the transparency when drawing
a photo,
you had to load a new photo
into the layer to see a clear photo.
From now on, the opacity value
applied to the photo
is changed to be linked to
the layer when drawing a photo.
The sharpness of the image
can be adjusted in layers.
Adjust the transparency
function of the layer
to see the picture you want
to draw clearly and easily turn
it into a work!
