May's challenge was an opportunity where Penples appreciated Super Heroes
of all kinds more than anywhere else.
Each artist's imagination and personality made them more interesting.
It was all the more meaningful because they remind us of the forgotten.
We gave a notice that 100 people selected from this challenge would receive a selfie-stick.
We looked more closely than ever at every single work to select the best 100.
Now, while reading this review of the challenge and finding what kind of Super Heroes,
however similar or different, are there,
it would be interesting to check whether your own work has been chosen.
Let's congratulate the winners heartily.
Then, let's take a look at those Heroes who would fill PEN.UP for a month.
Here are 100 selfie-stick winners.
■ Impress not by details but by the mood. Super Heroes with a mood
The first artist to be introduced is Abex. He submitted as many as 14 works for this challenge.
From his works we has selected three with an extraordinary atmosphere.
They are the most popular ones : Spider Man, Ironman, and Hulk.
Without many minute details, the overall effect alone suggests a tragic beauty.
Czuniga's works with overwhelming solemnity are for Ironman and Batman.
Both of them are good enough for movie posters.
They are elaborate as well as majestic. Captain America and Thor looking
as if they have just realized the severity of the situation. Iness_J y_park also participated in this challenge with 9 works.
■ Super Heroes, recreated by a unique artist
The style only can prove that the works are casebasket's.
Super Heroes recreated by his personality including Spiderman's funny gesture,
Ninja's dynamic posture with splendid colors are exceptionally impressive.
As expected, N3P's works are full of special properties.
Superman has tightly closed his mouth with broad shoulders, sharp eyes, and a funny hairstyle.
Batman is so cute, and Captain America looks too stern, but they are all great.
The special canvas with a different size from others contains Super Heroes full of
MarcBDrawin own characteristics.
The work renders Spiderman descending on a thread with a great reality.
He also presented many pictures of heroes.
■ Super Heroes with a high level of detail
At last April's challenge for drawing with SilkPaints,
BacGyver showed many perfect examples of SilkPaints. For this challenge as well, he offered incredible works.
He created a variety of versions of the same heroes using different techniques.
Check them with your own eyes.
Martinzz88's paintings always surprise us with the realistic description.
He submitted so many works for this challenge that anyone could think that this is his solo exhibition.
Over thirty different pictures of heroes are uploaded every day.
As May's pick for HOF, he takes the initiative in painting and various activities, which should be appreciated.
I've never seen Captain America with such a jolly mood. Sine's works have great atmospheric properties
as well as a detailed rendering of each strand of hair, shades, and other details.
■ My own Super Heroes in my heart
And here are pictures of 'my own heroes,' who are not so famous but special in our hearts.
The first artist is Gubarevsa. From a silently sitting girl wearing the superman suit,
to president Putin holding Captain America's shield, and to painter Rembrandt rendered into Joker,
his imagination of Super Heroes are extraordinary.
Pato.Cha changed a dog, his nephew, and his friends into Super Heroes.
These representations would mean that the beloved and the most cherished ones are true super heroes.
She also rendered a dog into a super hero with the Superman cape.
Above all, the title is most impressive.
It's like a guarantee that he would appear whenever and wherever he is asked.
Heroes do not necessarily require some capes or special suits.
The hero in his heart must be a figure of Beethoven.
Unlike those who defeat the enemies and protect justice,
Beethoven is a hero in his way in terms of sticking to his belief and proving his genius.
■ Super heroes, Sexy and Powerful
We cannot leave out the female Super Heroes such as Superwoman, Wonder woman, and Cat woman.
Especially they are all beautiful and fit and good at fighting against enemies. Uzart's pictures have a variety of styles and expressions
which contribute to the lively power of women.
kina's Super Heroes wearing white overall tights have artistic bodies.
Can you see the Spiderman mask in the background? Is she Spiderman's girl friend?
The Super woman is not so flamboyant but has a special charm.
I like the beautiful hair, the face, the burgundy color cardigan, and the colorway of Superman suit so much.
■ Wicked but Still Super Heroes for Them
There is no rule that Super Heroes always fight against the evil.
For some, Super Heroes are those who are simply powerful and immortal. DarkOptimus82's pictures show some wicked scoundrels, but they look powerful.
The burning background is so overwhelming. Being a little bit closer would cause a severe harm.
Another simply powerful Super Hero, who looks like a comic character.
Other than these grim characters, he created many heroes for this challenge.
It is not that the good only exist in the world, but the bad exist as well.
It is all the more interesting because there are both the good and the bad characters of Super Heroes.
We are grateful to those who created wonderful wicked characters.
■ Super Heroes So Cute and Lovely
Here are two artists who prove that even Super Heroes could be so cute.
First, feltboy packed alll the Super Heroes known to us into a single canvas.
It's a simple sketch but successfully rendered every characteristic color and gesture of each character.
Second, Jason's two pictures look different from others' splendid styles.
He changed Spiderman, Batman and Hulk into peculiar caricature styles. They look like comic posters.
So we've introduced 20 artists picked for the challenge, and now the rest 80 artists
will be introduced with their works.
What if your work has been selected! Congratulate your friends if their works have been selected.
(The order of the artists are alphabetical.)
■ 80 Works of Such CharacteristicSuper Heroes
These are 100 artists and their works in total we introduced as participants
in May's Challenge "Let's Draw Super Heroes."
How about that? There are so many different Super Heroes, aren't there?
Each Hero has been born with a different appearance created by your own creativity and personality.
More fervent than ever, this challenge gave us an opportunity to see so many Super Heroes in PEN.UP.
The selected 100 artists will receive a selfie-stick.
