Giewont is a mountain in the Tatra Mountains. The symbol of Giewont is a cross that people from Zakopane placed there. This cross is made of metal, so during large storms, thunders strike into it. Unfortunately, some people hike to the top of Giewont without checking the weather, so one day during a large storm, many people died.
