Gerald has Mother Charlotte and a younger sister Lily. Gerald's father disappeared under unknown circumstances, the police could not find any evidence, so the case was closed. In a way, this is the very first reason why Gerald wanted to become a detective. Gerald has a warm relationship with his mother. But Charlotte doesn't really like it when her son walks around in this "suit" and often tells him to wear normal clothes. (And that's why he's here in these clothes)
